Therapy is a process, it is a safe and non-judgmental space that offers empathy, empowerment, growth and healing through self-awareness and action.
The sessions are for 50 minutes each, you get to decide the number of sessions you would like to come in for and how you would like to pace it. We work together with you, your needs and goals being the primary focus to help you create the life you want and achieve your therapy goals. The therapist collaboratively discusses the process and treatment goals with clients depending upon the concerns one approaches therapy for. Please do keep in mind that therapy is not just a space for curing mental health conditions but also a space to simply enhance your mental and emotional well-being.
I work using an integrative model which includes intersectionality and social justice, existential therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, gestalt therapy, family therapy and grief therapy. I firmly believe working on establishing a therapeutic relationship with a client is the most important aspect of therapy.
As a person of Islamic faith, I also specialize working with Muslims in India and across the world using a faith-based modality drawn from the work of Dr. Muhammed Iqbal.
I have a blended practice where I see clients in-person in Central Bangalore, Karnataka, India and over online video or audio sessions across the world.
